REVIEWS

  1. Soumya Sen- 5/5

This place has been done up in such a way that it totally resembles a beach shack in Goa. Hammocks, cool graphitti on the walls, cosy chairs and vibes of a beach side shack, it has all of them. Full marks for the ambience. Also there is really cool music which keeps playing in the background.

The food is as close as it gets to the authentic Goan food one would get in Goa. This place had started humbly with around 42 dishes on their menu and recently expanded it to a huge number of 82 dishes, each of different taste and character.

My love for Goan food drew me here to taste their newly curated menu by Chef Aloysious D'Souza. The place is located right above Sodabottleopenerwala and is very easy to locate. They are spread across 2 floors- the 1st floor is more like a restaurant with very bright colours used to add on to the decor. There is a souvenir shop also selling clothes and jewellery will remind you of Goan flea markets. I specially loved the seating by the glass where you literally feel you are in Goa because of the sand that touches your feet while you happily eat. The 2nd floor is more of a beach shack kind of feel with beach beds seating and the hippie van at the corner is just vow. This place looks so glamorous.

It was a mini Goa recreated in 2 floors. Right from the sand , to the sound of water , the beach feeling - everything was there. In fact there is a mini flea market in the 1st floor.
